Aldo Spoldi – The Music Box Spring of Being and Time

Appointments with art continue at Palazzo Parasi with the personal exhibition of Aldo Spoldi, an eclectic, original artist with consolidated experience in the international field, entitled La molla del carillon di Essere e Tempo (The Music Box Spring of Being and Time).

The exhibition at Palazzo Parasi, curated by Loredana Parmesani, is composed of an unprecedented visual thesis on Aldo Spoldi’s long and rich artistic career, where he transforms his archive into a time machine, moved like the spring of a music box, involving numerous times: from 1967 to 1980 until 1999 and then further backwards from 2016 to 1966.

The artist writes: ‘The work not only opens, but also closes. The transcendental Being binds in the secular enclosure like the hand of the Marameo that opens and closes, like an accordion.”
