The Park Hotel Villa Belvedere is set in Cannobio within a huge garden of 15.000 square metres with a heated swimming pool, in an attractive and peaceful scenery amidst the lake Maggiore and the Cannobina Valley.
Recently renovated, the hotel has quiet bedrooms all different from one another and furnished with satellite tv, minibar, safe deposit box, air conditioning and whirlpool. The beautiful terraces and balconies enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding landscape.

A rich buffet breakfast is served in the morning and in the evening the restaurant offers various dishes featuring typical Italian cuisine.
Lake Maggiore is the most westerly of the three large prealpine lakes of Italy and the second largest after Lake Garda. The western bank is in Piedmont and the eastern in Lombardy, whereas the most northerly section extends thirteen kilometres into Switzerland.
Cannobio is located on the shores of the spectacular western end of the lake. It has made a particular point of retaining intact most of its natural, historical and architectural heritage which includes Roman remains, Medieval art and 18th century architecture.
Cannobio has its own Lido at the north end of town with a large sandy beach, and the waters offshore are renowed for sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Other sports facilities, such as sports ground with athletics track, tennis courts, cycle track, minigolf course and children's playground are on hand. Just at the beginning of the Cannobina Valley, there is the natural attraction called "Orrido di Sant'Anna", a deep gorge cut into the rock by the waters of the Cannobino river, renowed for diving.
In the surrounding area you will find famous golf clubs: Patriziale Ascona and Losone (Switzerland); Alpino, Bogogno and Castelconturbia (Italy).
For the walker there are well marked paths wich lead up into a hinterland of scenic mountain hikes and remote villages: the Cannobina Valley, Val Grande National Park, Macugnaga and the Mattehorn. Other interesting places to visit are Lake Orta, Milan and – in Switzerland – Verzasca, Maggia and Centovalli valleys and the cities: Locarno (Film Festival and Camelia Festival), Ascona (New Orleans Jazz Festival); Bellinzona and Lugano.
Famous are also the Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola Pescatori), easy reachable by boat form Cannobio, Verbania and Stresa and the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto and Alpina.

Das Hotel ist seit kurzem renoviert worden. Die Zimmer, von denen nicht eines dem anderen gleicht, sind mit TV sat, Minibar, Geldschrank, Klimaanlage und Whirlpool ausgestattet und bieten schöne Terrassen oder Balkons mit entspannendem Panoramablick. Am Morgen wird ein reiches Frühstücksbuffet serviert und am Abend, auf Wunsch, bietet unser Restaurant verschiedene italienische Spezialitäten.
Dieses kleine reizvolle Hotel, mit Familienführung, ist ideal für einen erholsamen, naturverbundenen Urlaub.
Der Lago Maggiore liegt zwischen Piemont, Lombardei dem Schweizer Kanton Tessin. Nach dem Gardasee ist er der zweitgrößte Alpensee Italiens.
Das Westufer (Region Piemont) ist wesentlich reizvoller als die Osthälfte (Region Lombardei). Zu den schönsten Orten zählt dort das eher nördlich liegende Cannobio.
